Instead of re-keying part numbers discovered in Parts Manager Pro (PMP) into c9; you can setup PMP to save parts onto the computer and have c9 pick those parts up.
Initial Setup - 1. Setup C9
On main menu of C9; goto Setup. Select option 'Networking 2'.
Under 'Suzuki Parts Manager Pro Import' click on the 'Enable' button. Click OK
Initial Setup - 2. Create a c:\pmp folder
From desktop, select 'Computer' (Windows 7) or 'My Computer' (Windows XP).
Select c:\ local hard disk
Select File -> New -> Folder
Type in 'pmp' Press Enter key. New folder 'pmp' is now created and ready for taking parts from Parts Manager Pro.
Export from PMP
Inside PMP do the following:
- Select the 'shopping trolly' picklist icon
- Select the icon DCS
- Click on Browse and browse to 'c local disk and the pmp folder'. (or type in c:\pmp in the field next to the browse button)
- Click on OK
The parts are now saved
Import into C9
At Point of Sale, press F7 to import and select the top option 'Import from Parts Catalogue Software'. The parts will then import into c9.
