Modifications with units rebates. Originally assumed that rebates where only relevant post unit sale; but this is not the case for some suppliers (i.e. Yamaha). Cleaned up the software so that it can better deal with recording rebates while unit is still on the floor or even during point of purchase.

Tweaks to sales full history. Was not taking quotes or credit notes into account. Same for application setup too rebuild monthly sales qtys

• Bugfix with spares discounts.  If you select daily or stock buy price as basis of calculating discount, it would work fine for parts coming out of stock, but for parts on order it would always use the actual order receive price, not either daily/stock pricefile price.  Modified so that it always uses price file daily/stock buy if user wishes to discount based on either of these.

• Accounts - could not print Credit note or debit note transactions. Now fixed

Note that this version will modify the database and will force you to log all terminals out as part of upgrade

• Bugfix with generic price file import.  Importer would hide fields which have no data in them in the first 100 rows. But supercession fields may appear blank because supercessions may not start appearing until after the 100th part number. Solution is that if header appears to be a supercession, then include it, even if first 100 rows are blank
• Website management
  • Introduced notion of stock part grouping; so stock parts on website group together. Currently they group by analyzing stock description; i.e. if part ends with BLK, RED, XS, LARGE, 32 etc etc. This new setting gives finer control over this logic
  • Website units - will now publish new units on website. But new units need to be mapped onto website individually

• Harley Master file import : supercession slot contained things which which are not part numbers. Such as "AFTERMARKET", "CFITMENTCOMMENTS" and "VINTAGEPARTS".  Modified c9 so that on Harley import, if super cession slot does not contain a 'part' with at least one digit, assume the master file is dodgy and assume part does not supercede.
• Miner bulk mail merge:
  • Detect duplicate SMS/Email could not handle SMS/Email with multiple lines. Now fixed
  • Report on actual number of SMS/Email messages sent on "send all"; not just number tested.

Note that this version will modify the Database on update and will force all terminals to be logged out as part of update. This update will take longer to perform than average update. Allow for upto 2 minutes for update to complete.

• Spares profit report tracking of discounting more accurate; discounts now internally tracked on each individual item
• Spares profit report -separate parts sold based on discounting scheme, retail discount, cost discounting or profit margin discounting
• On key browse windows memorise if user prefers to look at top or bottom of list:
  • Workshop Select job
  • Customer order pickup
  • Select Order
• Manage Website content bug fixes
  • enforce order of content items strictly as image, summary, details. Before order could get mixed up if you partially set items, change items on multiple edits.
  • Change order on advanced browse sometimes did not work if there where child menu items on the menu being modified
  • Never memorize directory for new image if it is server db (c9db:) location

• Added ability to, on each terminal, to modify 'size' of windows in c9. To make them bigger or smaller. Windows/fonts/buttons etc are sized accordingly.  Accessed via Application Setup - System and Database
• More small usability tweaks to website management
• Parts Magician Lookup - display magician category and provide ability to change category inside lookup itself
• Redesign of main menu
• Print spares order; when user selects email from print preview, prime correct email address for franchise/accessory supplier
• Added description of what colors mean when selecting order or selecting dealer unit

• Edit discount. Selected % field first when window opens
• Profit summary.  Modified unit profit figure to factor in rebates, writeback and other costs.
• Website structure overhaul.  Make it easier to setup data by centralising setup activities under business.  Also includes useful things such as a consolidated image gallery viewer.

Bugfix with receiving orders. The system would allow you to receive Order A#, type in parts for Order B# and update parts for both A# and B#. But there was a bug; Order B# would not update it's status in such a way that things like F12 customer pickup would refresh and display new orders ready for pickup. Bug fix will exhaustively test all open orders that might be impacted by a receive order and update them if necessary.

• Modifications to printer sub system so it can cope with unusual printers, such as Zebra barcoder.  Pre remote version of c9 did work, but functionality was broken with changes where c9 forced printer to use print setup attributes such as A4 paper etc.  C9 now checks details of printer and only sets print job attributes if it is not going to cause print job to fail with an error.
• Account discount tab - also allow setting of discount % rate on this tab
• View accounts - include a tab for displaying account customers only
• Unit Sale/Profit report. Print clerk key.
• Add workshop part. Default quantity to 1
• Workshop - added ability to include cost of job on notify customer of completed job (email and SMS)
• Bugfix with paying out a unit. Payout would not create a business activity record
• Bugfix with taking floorplan payments of any kind.  Under some circumstances these payments would reflect on cash till report when they never should do any such thing.
• Modifications to online backup client.  Some algorithm/bugfix tweaks: performance and state changes. Integrity of backups not an issue.  e.g. backup would transmit incremental changes twice, because of a bug in windowing algorithm: doubling bandwidth required for online backups.  Now only transmits once.
