  • Profit reports now reconcile. Bug Parade:
    • Profit Report: failed to take discount on freeform into consideration
    • Profit Summary: failed to take GST into consideration
    • Profit Summary: used the wrong quantity when dealing with returned/refunded parts
    • Profit Summary: used the wrong lastincost if lastincost on invoice was 0
  • Option to print invoice details on receive parts - changed default setting from Off to On - because this is how old system worked
  • Quick SMS - correctly select Mobile number of user even if mobile number is stored in either main or alt

  • Point of sale - checkbox for whether or not to send SMS on parts receive in point of sale complete
  • workshop - checkbox for whether or not to send SMS on complete job
  • Bugfix - if you enter and exit miner load a few times - would not refresh properly. Bug with handling ActiveThreadMap mappings of database connections.
    • Todo - make ActiveThreadMap purge only if Thread object is no longer referencable, not just because Thread is not alive. Appears Swing recycles threads
  • Bugfix with superceding part on stock with master file. Subsequent unsupercede would not work correctly
  • UI interface tidyup on view/change part. Make it behave same as old c8 in terms of keystrokes etc
  • Bugfix with cancel pickup. Would not remove invoice off account for invoiced workshop jobs

  • Attempt to deal with intermittant problem with printing on a site. Reset Printer resources when:
    • An attempt to print triggered an error
    • Printer resource was not accessed for more than two hours

  • Bugfix with crash on point of sale introduced with version 4.79 : Allow qty supplied to exceed qty received
  • Bugfix with terminal config. Sometimes a c8.properties.new file would get 'stuck' and cause all terminal config changes to be ignored
  • Workshop - add parts. Was possible to add parts to sell to workshop, then accidently press Escape key and lose those parts. Added a message confirmation request when this happens to allow user to abort the escape
  • Business - added option to import invoices in bulk. To be used to help manage invoicing of c8 customers. File format is internal to c8 (similar to query file format)

  • Bugfix. Print labels memorize selected printer (hopefully got it right this time).
  • Add parts. On successful add - move focus to Part number entry field. Original c8 did this, c9 was not doing this
  • Modify deposits for either spares or workshop. Always asks for a clerk key. Even for systems where clerk keys are not in use
    • Workshop deposits - for clerk key to be requested requires the "Workshop booking" clerkkey option to be set in setup
    • Spares deposits - for clerk key to be requested requires "Spares" clerkkey option to be set in setup
