Australia's best motorcycle shop retail software
- Fixed bug with importing zipped OPEA file. Would just hang (unzip OPEA file was fine)
- Optimized OPEA file import. Existing clarion code was efficient for clarion but very slow for java. Runs x10 faster now
- Download update bug fix. If there are two terminals simultaneously running trying to download new software from database to terminal it could result in corrupted install and that terminal would no longer work
- Other runtime/compiletime performance optimisations
- Fixed bug where email with attachments would not send (bug caused by introduction of fast startup)
- Select order - optimised database access so it should now be alot faster refreshing/opening the window (there is further opportunity to improve if necessary)
- Estimate bugfix - could not add a workshop part to an estimate
- Workshop newjob tidy up. Print 2 copies options on last panel are enabled/disabled based on print selection on same screen (previously was based on whether job was for dealer or for customer)
- charts
- Added ability to view raw chart data
- Added ability to save raw chart data as a .csv file
- Database scanner can be accessed from any terminal (no need to create ..c9backup directory
- Estimates - make sure item list refreshes after adding an estimate item
- Workshop newjob bugfix. Print 2 copies options on last panel were never selectable
- Receive Order - allow entry of Freight inc GST
- Receive Order - allow setting of global discount dollar
- Receive Order - allow setting of line total values, inc/ex buy and discount
- Rapid startup - fixed potential bug where on reboot starting c9 would not appear to work
- DB Scanner - more options
- View C9 locks
- View DB locks
- View DB sessions
- Network Diagnostics
- Receive spares bugfix - system could end up in a infinite loop during receive order locking the system
- Advanced orders : browse. Force ordering of items by type then order number (this was how old c8 behaved)
- New workshop job : tidied up some code. Customer reports that sometimes job no is not displayed. Cannot work out exactly why - but hope code tidyup will correct.
- Receive Order - resize screen to use upto 800x600 resolution. Means that part numbers + descriptions are now fully visible
- Print barcodes - added a 'delete all' button
- Bugfix with optimised startup : would mess up keyboard buffer management
- Made start time faster
- Put multiple C9 sessions into a single Jave instance
- Keep java running even after c9 closes. When new c9 is requested - the existingn java system will be reused - resulting in near instantaneous start times
- Check For Updates
- Support download/install new startup.jar/startup.exe bootstrappers
- Use memory more conseratively on download and install. I suspect that on low spec machines - the first check for updates can be problematic as it tries to download entire c9 and keep the entire c9 in memory. Only keep in memory small chunks of c9 while downloading/installing
- Charts : all user to tweak date ranges etc. Also added a chart of average user spend by clerk graphed on a time base
- Look and Feel : in setup you can change look and feel from default (Nimbus). Recommend use 'Metal' for low spec machines
- Bug with update master file record - when changing retail price would sometimes trigger a "price not available" error message when the price is actually ok
- Bug with update master file record - "price not available" error dialog would trigger java to crash
- Bug with profit report - trying to sort report by profitability resulted in java crash
- Bug with new workshop job - if job is based on estimate with spare parts on it - the parts will remain locked until the terminal shuts down
- Bug with adding spare parts to a workshop job via workshop - the parts will remain locked until the terminal shuts down
- Spares credit - request user to specify payment method so that spares credits appear in cash till report
